Ricarda Weiland

PhD student
Junior Researcher

Ricarda Weiland is a PhD candidate investigating sensory processing and sensitivity in individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Research has shown that individuals with ASD not only show the more prominent social symptoms but also differ in more basic perceptions of the world. Using methods such as questionnaires, behavioural data and brain measures, she tries to understand these sensory differences further in order to develop reliable biomarkers for ASD.
To do this, Ricarda is located both at the CNCR and the department of clinical developmental neuropsychology.
