Miriam has joined Matthijs Verhage’s lab in 2019. She is investigating the molecular mechanisms behind specific STXBP1 disease mutations using high-skill techniques like single-cell electrophysiology. Miriam is also involved in defining an overarching cellular model for the disease using iPSC-derived human neurons.
